(Question) PS1 memory cards?
I bought an official Sony branded card off of eBay, and basically I put it in my PS2 but it's been having problems.
- When I take the memory card out I have to wiggle it out. I can't just pull it out like most PS2 Cards
- The PS1 memory card gets recognized by slot 1 & slot 2 but when I go and play a game it sometimes gives me an error "no memory card insisted" I can sometimes fix this by moving the card out & sometimes to the left or right but it's been frustrating to deal with

Dragon Ball Z Sagas question
Hi I have some question on DBZ Sagas.
When I was looking up potential mods, action replay codes, etc. I have been trying to find a cheat or something to make my character maintain their super form (Super saiyan, super namekian) but unsuccessful. I understand Broly is in that state regardless but that is what I am trying to do. Any help is appreciated.

My question is it legal to use the ps2 emulator with my original games because I have repaired my ps2 more than 15 times and I fear one day I won't be able to get it repaired. So I am going to buy a gaming laptop after finishing first year university to be able to emulate ps2 really well.

Vib Ribbon PAL on NTSC-U PSOne console: Can't get the game to work properly
So I got myself a legitimate copy of (PAL) Vib Ribbon and I tried to use it on my PsOne (NTSC-U) with the LCD screen add on attached (also NTSC-U). however theres two problems:
1. on the little LCD screen, the screen keeps shaking up and down and on my samsung 1080p HDTV, the screen is positioned right and its in black and white. Of course I think its because of the whole EUR 50hz issue on american (or in my case, canadian) TVs.
2. I can't play the "Vib Ribbon Disk mode" (main part of the...

PS2 MATRIX INFINITY 1.93 LAG
So I modchipped my PS2 with the matrix infinity 1.93 chip the last week I had a NFS Carbon burned disc before my dvd tray on my laptop broke.I burned it alot of time ago and I dont know if thats the cause.The cutscenes lagged and were stuck for atleast 30-40 seconds in a frame.Also it had a problem while I was pressing the buttons,might be the controller...Idk if the disc had any problems or smth.If it helps,my PS2 is PAL Slim SCPH-90004.What can I do about it?

uLE 2TB failed to load
all right its been 2 days now and still cant get uLE 2tb to load the hdd
everytime i either launch it from the usb or memory card i end with 'failed to load'
the hdd is a seagate 2tb brand new
i have freecboat running fine from the memory card and when i go to misc hdd manager it does recognise the hdd
also i used to use another hdd of 750gb and it worked fine there
i really dont know what to do now
please help me before i turn crazy

Hi All...I've read tons of stuff now and am so confused I can't figure out what is what.
So what am I looking to do?
1) Softmod my PS2 Phat 30001 w/HDD (Will be modding a OEM Network Adapter for SATA HDD -- stuff on the way)
2) Load my backup PS2 AND PS1 games to HDD
3) Play my backed up PS2 and PS1 games from HDD
My confusion...I've read about OPL, FMCB, PopStarter, etc. but I can't figure out how they relate or how I would install them or make them work together. Each tutorial talks...

PS2 mod chip vs modded memory card? I have the mod chip already but am scared to solder it in
So I've had two Modbo 4.0 chips for years laying around, 10m of solder, I bought lengths of wire in both aug gauges needed, and a soldiering iron. But I'm too scared to try and install it I've just had this stuff laying around for years. Should I just buy a modded memory card just so I can play games, and just emulate ps1 stuff. Or should I bite the bullet and try to solider this thing to my PS2.

Fixing X-Assist?
Could someone tell me if this is fixable?
I recently got my hands on Xplorer with X-Assist for the PlayStation 1. The cartridge works fine but the X-Assist LCD is showing only black boxes (attached picture). Is this the LCD that is faulty or is it something else?

PS2 using 2TB internal HDD
Everywhere I look on the web I see conflicting answers about whether a PS2 can handle a 2TB SATA internal HDD. Much info is also outdated. So I registered to either get a definitive No on the issue or make a tutorial on getting this to happen.

FMCB install on DESR-7000 PSX using CECHZM1 memory card adapter?
So, I'm trying to install FMCB on my PSX (model DESR-7000). I do not have a PS2 of any sort to use separately. But I *do* have an official CECHZM1 PS2/3 memory card adapter.
Supposedly the only difference on modern versions of FMCB is to press R1 on the install screen and choose "PSX Install".
I followed the CECHZM1 adapter FMCB install tutorial below, and downloaded the newest Noobie pack to put in the root of my FAT32-formatted 16GB USB drive (SanDisk, official)....
